Assignment: Tell Your Design Story (1–1.5 min Video)
This week, you will create a short storytelling video about your design idea.
Your goal is to explain your concept like a real designer — through a story with characters!
What to Do:
1️⃣ Choose your user (the person who faces the problem).
Give them a NAME — example:
Grandma → Lakshmi Ajji
Brother → Arjun
Friend → Megha
Father → Ramesh Uncle
2️⃣ Build the character
Say who they are, what they do, and what problem they face.
3️⃣ Tell the story in 4 parts:
Part 1 – The Problem
“Lakshmi Ajji finds it difficult to use the TV remote…”
Show what exactly is hard for them.
Part 2 – Your Understanding
Explain how YOU understood the problem.
What did you see? What did they tell you?
Part 3 – Your Ideas
Explain how you thought of different solutions.
Mention your sketches and concepts (you can show them).
Part 4 – The Final Solution
Tell how your final design makes the user’s life easier and happier.
Example:
“Now Lakshmi Ajji can use the remote without confusion, and she feels more independent.”
4️⃣ Make a 1–1.5 minute video
Speak clearly
Keep the story fun and simple
Show your sketches
Be expressive (smile, use your hands!)
5️⃣ Submission:
Upload the video to YouTube (Unlisted) and share the link.

ಅಸೈನ್ಮೆಂಟ್: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಡಿಸೈನ್ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿ (1–1.5 ನಿಮಿಷ ವೀಡಿಯೋ)
ಈ ವಾರ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಡಿಸೈನ್ ಐಡಿಯಾವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕಥೆಯ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವ ವೀಡಿಯೋ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು:
1️⃣ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೂಸರ್ ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಿ — ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಕೊಡಿ:
ಅಜ್ಜಿ → ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಅಜ್ಜಿ
ತಂಗಿ → ಮೇಘನಾ
ಅಣ್ಣ → ಅರ್ಜುನ್
ಅಪ್ಪ → ರಾಮೇಶ್ ಅಂಕಲ್
2️⃣ ಕ್ಯಾರಕ್ಟರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ
ಅವರು ಯಾರು? ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ?
3️⃣ ಕಥೆ 4 ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ:
ಭಾಗ 1 – ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ
“ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಅಜ್ಜಿಗೆ TV ರಿಮೋಟ್ ಬಳಸಲು ತೊಂದರೆ…”
ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಏನು ಅಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ.
ಭಾಗ 2 – ನೀವು ಹೇಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರಿ
ನೀವು ಏನು ನೋಡಿದಿರಿ? ಅವರು ಏನು ಹೇಳಿದರು?
ಭಾಗ 3 – ನಿಮ್ಮ ಐಡಿಯಾಗಳು
ಎಷ್ಟು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ, ಸ್ಕೆಚ್ಗಳು ಹೇಗಿದ್ದವು — ತೋರಿಸಿ.
ಭಾಗ 4 – ಅಂತಿಮ ಪರಿಹಾರ
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಡಿಸೈನ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸುಲಭ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷಕರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ?
ಉದಾ:
“ಈ ಹೊಸ ರಿಮೋಟ್ನಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಅಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಈಗ TV ಬಳಸುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿದೆ.”
4️⃣ 1–1.5 ನಿಮಿಷ ವೀಡಿಯೋ ಮಾಡಿ
ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ
ಕಥೆ ಸರಳವಾಗಿರಲಿ
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಕೆಚ್ಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ
ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಬಳಸಿ (ಕೈ ಚಾಲನೆ, ನಟನೆ, ಮುಖಭಾವ)
5️⃣ Submission:
ವೀಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು YouTube Unlisted ಆಗಿ ಅಪ್ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಿಂಕ್ ಹಂಚಿ.
